Grupo Americano | Argentina. En la década del 50 en Monte Hermoso Provincia de Buenos Aires Domingo Lucenti acompañado por su hermano HUGO, hasta entonces productores agropecuarios, inauguraba El Residencial Americano. Un residencial de 33 habitaciones cuyos servicios serían rápidamente reconocidos por su acogedora calidad y distinguido servicio, dando así el primer paso de esta gran compañía. Con la confianza que surge de hacer las cosas bien, y las ansias de crecer, en 1970 inauguran con más de 90 habitaciones el primer Hotel Americano. Hotel que al día de hoy sigue siendo uno de los referentes de Monte Hermoso. Años mas tarde, la innovación se suma a las características de la compañía de Don Domingo y así surge la construcción del primer complejo turístico de la ciudad, ubicado en un viejo casco de estancia junto al mar y a pocos kilómetros del centro. Nace así el Complejo Americano. Las características del lugar, la posibilidad de albergar más de 4.000 campistas y la calidad de sus servicios hicieron que este emprendimiento se transforme indefectiblemente en el mejor complejo turístico de la Argentina y uno de los cinco mejores de Sudamérica. El éxito del emprendimiento, conjunto con las características innovadoras del mismo, más el tenaz ímpetu de su emprendedor, no dejó otro camino que el de la expansión. Las máximas autoridades nacionales lo invitan a invertir y seguir su desarrollo empresarial en las maravillosas Cataratas del Iguazú. Así, a finales de la década del 70, el Americano desembarca en la tierra colorada, construyendo un complejo turístico de más de 170.000 metros cuadrados con restaurant, piscinas, diferentes instancias de alojamiento y una importante sala de juegos, conformando así un verdadero paraíso en plena selva misionera.
